Maureen Juniper
Maureen has been a Level 1 Western Equestrian Coach since 2000. She was mentored for her coaching evaluation by Gail Haynes, a Level 2 Western Equestrian Coach and double-certified John Lyons trainer.
Maureen has had a love affair with horses since she was a young girl. She fell away from horses during her teenage/early adult years, and re-ignited her passion for them when her own children were old enough to ride.
In 1998, Maureen bought her first horse, a 4-year-old 14.2-hand large pony named Bambi. It was love at first site, and Bambi remains under Maureen's ownership today. In 2003, Maureen bought a second horse a 16.3-hand Canadian Sport Horse named Apollo.
Four years ago, Maureen bought a hobby farm in Moffat, Ontario and fulfilled a life-long dream of bringing her horses home to live. She continues to coach at Five Star Ranch in Campbellville.
When not shoveling manure, Maureen tends to the public relations company that she owns in Mississauga. She is married with three children and two dogs.
